Small Shop Plans gives you the parts, cutting maps, materials and assembly for a small desktop project in one place. You can change dimensions and download the whole plan without an account.

Original designs and checks

These plans are original AI-assisted parameter designs. The same dimension data generates the parts, cutting trees, diagrams and printable files. Checks cover positive dimensions, wall and base fit, equal compartment widths, assembly dependencies, sheet thickness, grain, kerf and sheet-area accounting.

We have not physically built or load-tested these projects. Use them for light desktop storage. They provide no structural, device-protection or child-safety rating.

What the plans include

Six constructions include open trays, fixed dividers, half-lap grids, removable dividers, sliding lids and desktop cubbies. Rectangular blanks are cut from the stock maps. Where needed, a separate machining schedule locates the accessible slots, notches and guides before assembly. Connection diagrams and tool requirements are specific to the selected construction. Adhesive quantity and cure time follow the product you actually use.

Sources and corrections

The product approach was informed by Chen Ran's article on free content sites. Project geometry and instructions are original. We do not copy paid project plans. A4 and Letter sizing is recorded in the relevant project.

Each bundle includes project and solver versions. If a formula changes, associated files are rebuilt together. Keep a saved JSON copy and recalculate with the current version before making.

Free access and advertising

The complete plans stay free. Advertising is currently disabled. Downloads and local calculations use no online model service.
